More than 130 girls from 10 primary and prep schools across North and West Yorkshire attended the U10s tournament.

The standard of play from all of the teams was extremely high.  After four hours of play and an exciting final, Cundall Manor Prep School were crowned tournament champions.

Fran Irvine, Assistant Head at Harrogate Ladies’ College who organised the tournament said,

“Competitive team sports are really important in helping children to build resilience, team working skills and understanding the importance of achieving a goal.  We were delighted to share our passion for competitive sports with so many children from across the district”.

“All of the teams played well and they should be really proud of their performances.  I look forward to seeing how their rounders skills progress as they move into senior school teams!”
