Wraparound Care and Holiday Camps
At Highfield and Harrogate Ladies’ College, we’re delighted to offer before and after school care, and year round holiday club provision to help families juggle busy schedules during half terms and holidays.
Before and After School Club
We run our own Before and After School programme from 7.30am and until 6pm for children in Pre-School up to Prep 6. Many families also combine this with our extensive programme of extra-curricular clubs. Half hour sessions run from 7.30am to 8am and 8am to 8.30am before school, and from 4pm to 4.30pm, 4.30pm to 5pm, 5pm to 5.30pm and 5.30pm to 6pm after school. EYFS Holiday Club
Our EYFS Holiday Club is open 48 weeks of the year for children attending Highfield Pre-School and Reception. Each week is themed, such as Pirate, Space, Nature, On the Farm and Beside the Seaside inspired weeks. Examples of activities include arts and crafts, messy play, outside games, den building, bike riding and baking, and there’s always plenty time for children to enjoy free play each day. Sessions are run by our dedicated EYFS practitioners ensuring continuity of care and familiarity for children.
EYFS Holiday Club
We are open the following weeks during the 2023/2024 Academic Year:
Holiday Club costs £47.85 per day (9am to 4pm). Early drop off from 8am is £7.75 and late pick up until 6pm is £15.50 (payments are to be made at the time of booking either by bank transfer or cheque). Bookings cancelled less than 4 weeks in advance will be charged in full.
Children will be provided with a morning and afternoon snack but please can they bring a water bottle, packed lunch (no nuts please), spare clothes, a warm hat/sun hat, warm coat, wellies, sun cream and lots of imagination!

Total Sports Holiday Clubs
New activity camps run by the popular holiday club provider, Total Sports, are open to all children from Year 1 to Year 9. Sessions are carefully designed to ensure children are kept active and engaged all day long and include music, dance, arts/crafts, pottery, Forest School, archery, swimming and inflatable assault courses!
Camps run from 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, with the option to extend to 5.30pm. The cost for a standard day is £34.50 and an extended day is £40.50.The cost for a standard week is £138 and an extended week is £162.
