Financial Assistance at Harrogate Ladies' College
We are proud to be a socially and culturally diverse school community and we are committed to widening access to our schools to families who might not otherwise be able to fund a place.
We can provide financial assistance with school fees in the form of means tested bursaries up to 100%. The level of financial assistance available to families is determined by individual financial circumstances taking into account both income and assets.
We don’t set specific academic criteria to qualify for a bursary, but we are looking for pupils who are truly passionate about joining our schools and who can demonstrate the potential to contribute amazing things to our school community.
We normally ask that bursary applications are submitted by the end of December of the year prior to joining. Once we’ve received your bursary application we’ll aim to provide an initial indication of the potential level of financial assistance which may be available to you. Bursary awards are then officially confirmed at the time of offer.
In addition to bursary support, we also offer a direct debit scheme which enables families to spread the cost of school fees over 9 monthly payments.
