The alumni of both Highfield and College are part of our rich heritage. Current pupils draw inspiration from those who have gone before them, knowing that they in turn will one day be the role models of future pupils.

Alumni Association

Our Alumni Association was set up in 1895, although back then it was simply known as the ‘Old Girls’ organisation. Today, the HCU is a thriving community of former staff and pupils which offers alumni the opportunity to stay in touch with each other and find out about what is happening at your old school.

As well as regular newsletters, updates and reunion events, there are also opportunities for HCU members to get involved in supporting the school through mentoring, careers advice and donations.

This section of our website is a hub for our alumni activity. It includes details of forthcoming events, as well as information about how to join the alumni association, update your contact details and share your latest news.

If you use LinkedIn, you can also follow us via our University Page. Check your personal profile includes Harrogate Ladies’ College in the education section and you’ll automatically be linked to the page.

If you use Facebook, we have a dedicated group for alumni of the school which is very active and has around 1,000 members. Former pupils share their memories of school here along with photos and we will tell you about up and coming events and news from across Harrogate Ladies’ College.
