Director of Music at Harrogate Ladies’ College, Kate Morgan said,

“We’re incredibly proud of our Chapel Choir and their fantastic achievement. It takes an awful lot of hard work, commitment and many hours of rehearsal to reach the standard they have and it’s very rewarding to see that recognised. The girls were determined to sing their best and should all congratulate themselves on a wonderful performance.”

The Barnardo’s competition success tops off a busy calendar for the Chapel Choir this term which has seen them perform concerts in Prague, at the Soroptimists’ International Women’s Day event in Harrogate and a Choral Evensong in Durham Cathedral. They were also previously finalists on the BBC Songs of Praise School Choir of the Year competition.
