Junior Orchestra Day, tuesday 24 february, 9.30am-4.30pm

We’d love to invite you to join us for a day of learning new music and rehearsals, culminating in a wonderful concert for parents, teachers and invited guests. This will be a fantastic opportunity for budding young musicians who play orchestral strings, wind and brass from Grade 1 upwards to come together with pupils from other schools and celebrate the joy of orchestral music.

Pupils are welcome to attend as small groups or as individuals (with permission from their school). It is also possible for individual children to be dropped off and picked up by parents (with their consent). Regretfully, we are not able to accommodate guitars, percussionists or the recorder.

Junior ART MASTERCLAss: thursday 21 may, 9:30am-12pm

Our Head of Art, Sam Litherland, will be running this Junior Art Masterclass designed to inspire budding artists and help them to develop their life drawing skills. It will be a great opportunity for pupils with an emerging artistic talent or a strong passion for Art and it would particularly helpful for pupils thinking about applying for an Art Scholarship in Year 7.

Pupils are welcome to attend as individuals (with permission from their school) and given the small size of the masterclass group, they don’t need to be accompanied by a member of staff.

Join us for a special matinee performance of this year’s school production of Grease featuring a cast of pupils from Year 7 through to Year 13 and a live band who will bring this unforgettable musical to life! The show will feature iconic hit songs and dance routines as we follow the journey of Danny and Sandy as they navigate high school.

Please be aware that this is a schools’ version of the production with language and content (such as alcohol and teenage pregnancy) removed, however it does still feature mature themes around relationships.
