Highfield Prep School 1-2-1 Learning Support Practitioner – (Full-time, term-time position)

 

Overview of Role

 

The Role

Highfield Prep School, part of the Harrogate Ladies’ College family of schools, is seeking to appoint a 1-2-1 Learning Support Practitioner to provide 1-to-1 support for an existing pupil with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties.

The role is available for the remainder of the academic year until 3 July 2026, with the possibility of renewal in future years, subject to funding.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide dedicated 1-to-1 support for the pupil throughout the school day

  • Support the pupil across all areas of school life

  • Work closely with the Head of Inclusive Learning / SENCo to monitor and support the pupil’s progress

  • Assist the Classroom Teacher in a broader Teaching Assistant capacity when required
