Our alumnae are part of our rich heritage. Current pupils draw inspiration from those who have gone before them, knowing that they in turn will one day be the role models of future pupils.

We love to welcome former pupils to come back and visit us; to attend school events; and to share their expertise and knowledge with current pupils.

Harrogate College Union

The Harrogate College Union (HCU) is our alumnae association and was set up in 1895, although back then it was simply known as the ‘Old Girls’ organisation. Today, the HCU is a thriving mix of former pupils and staff and is dedicated to:

  • The promotion of our family of schools
  • The maintenance of interest in all HLC aims
  • The strengthening of ties between the HCU and HLC in every way possible

The HCU is a great way to re-connect with fellow pupils and stay in touch with all things happening within our family of schools. As well as regular newsletters, updates and reunion events, there is also a dedicated HCU web site.

Visit HCU Online

The HCU website is the hub of our alumnae activity. It includes news of former pupils, news updates and details of forthcoming events. To register, simply visit the HCU website here.
