Our Smile in 3D: Modelling Teeth and Jaws
In Science, Prep 4 pupils have explored different types of human teeth and their locations in the mouth. After learning the theory, they fashioned their own models of the upper and lower jaws using plasticine.
Hedgehog Construction
Reception have been learning all about animals that hibernate during Autumn. They made hedgehogs out of clay and explored where different animals go to keep safe and warm during the colder months.
Fun Science Experiments
Prep 5 have been investigating air resistance and parachutes. They had to consider how to best utilise the resources they were given to create an effective parachute!
Forest School Faces
Reception children had a great first visit to the Willow Garden where they collected natural materials to make a face, linking with their topic ‘All About Me’.
Band Practice
Mr Webster’s band and Mr Sidwell’s pupils wrapped up a very successful series of summer concerts and it was wonderful to see the children entertaining the rock ‘n’ roll crowd!
Let’s Hear About the Stone Age
Prep 1 had great fun last term sharing their Stone Age homework projects. They were able to explain how they had completed their work and all of the facts they had learned along the way!
