Pre-School children loved singing carols round the Christmas tree last week. Everyone was in great voice and full of enthusiasm for the actions too!

Year 7 pupils considered the importance of gratitude in PSHE lessons. They created paper chains illustrating all the things they are thankful for, and discussed chain reactions of kindness and gratitude.

Our younger pupils enjoyed a wonderful Magic Elf Show as a special end of term treat. The hall rang with laughter and squeals of delight.

Pupils could hardly contain themselves on Thursday, when a very special visitor came to Pre-School. Father Christmas arrived by ‘land sleigh’ and came inside to give every child a gift.

Lower School Art and Textiles enthusiasts visited the Van Gogh Alive immersive exhibition in Bradford this week. Van Gogh’s work was brought to life through projection, animation and music.

Prep 4 reinforced their science lessons on ‘Changing State’ by melting chocolate to make delicious crispy cakes, demonstrating that solids become liquids when heated and return to solids when cooled.
