Our Be Inspired careers talks have been in full swing this week, as we welcomed former Head Prefect, Elliot Reid, and clinical psychiatrist, Rob Baskind, to share their experiences with our current pupils.

Working on their Sports Day skills, Prep 3 have put their stamina to the test with the 600 metres. We were impressed with their pacing, running technique and determination to complete the two laps. 

On Thursday, Transition visited Hesketh Farm on their first school trip. We spent the morning looking at the animals, feeding the calves and lambs and collecting eggs. 

Our Year 10 and 12 pupils attended the UCAS Discovery Day held at York St John University, where they had the opportunity to engage with a range of representatives from different universities. 

Transition children enjoyed baking Hot Cross Buns for their Recipe of the Month, where they worked in groups to combine the ingredients. Fresh from the oven, each child took home their Easter-themed bake.

Mrs Everest came and told the story of ‘The Odyssey’ to our Prep 6. Pupils were then tasked to create their own board game, taking inspiration from the story.
