Celebrating National Boarding Week
National Boarding Week came to an enjoyable close with the eagerly anticipated Boarders‘ Festival, which featured music from the school band, karaoke, fun inflatables, a silent disco, and a delicious BBQ.
Prefects for Parliament!
The new College Prefect team visited Parliament to speak about current affairs with Harrogate and Knaresborough MP, Andrew Jones, where they also toured the House of Lords and House of Commons galleries.
World War I Battlefields Tour
Middle School students travelled to British, Canadian, Commonwealth, and German Cemeteries to hear stories of numerous soldiers killed in the war, including three pupils who were able to pay their respects at family members’ memorials.
Silence is Golden

Bonjour Paris!
Pupils travelled to Paris where they experienced a feast for the eyes, visiting the Musée d’Orsay and Musée du Louvre, as well as the Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre, and Chateau de Versailles.
Coast to Coast
Trips & Activities Week continued with a Lower School visit to Flamborough Head – a chalkland landscape on the Yorkshire coast – where pupils conducted practical fieldwork to further their understanding of coastal processes.
