Aspirin(g) Chemists

Upper 6 Chemists have been applying their knowledge of acylation reactions in preparing samples of aspirin. Students also researched the history of aspirin and implications for medical use.

Close to Nature

Upper 6 Biologists enjoyed a field trip to Malham Tarn to practise field study techniques and identify different plant and animal species. They carried out surveys using qualitative and quantitative methods.
