Santa’s Little Helpers

This week, Foundation have been very busy being Santa’s little helpers, starting all of our Christmas crafts! We’ve had lots of fun wrapping presents, making reindeer food, and Christmas tree printing. 

A Step into Brontë Country

Our English trip to Haworth brought the world of the Brontës vividly to life, where pupils began with a guided history walk through the village, tracing the footsteps of Charlotte, Emily and Anne. 

Christingles in Prep 2

In preparation for Christmas, our Prep 2 class enjoyed making Christingles and learnt about the special meaning behind each part. It was a lovely way to reflect on the season and to celebrate together.

Day in the Life of Food & Nutrition

L4 explored the topic of cross-contamination whilst making the ever-popular ‘Marry Me Chicken’, and a rich beetroot and chocolate brownie. Our U4 have been focusing on macronutrients and making energy balls! 

Thanksgiving in Foundation

Foundation class have been learning all about the celebration of Thanksgiving, where they explored a range of themed activities such as a pumpkin pie tuff try!

Boarders’ Bingo

Our boarders took park in Boarders’ Bingo the other evening, with boarders from both houses coming together to participate in some very competitive games!
