Highfield’s team of enthusiastic gardeners were out in force this week digging over our plots before planting potatoes, hoping for a bumper crop of flowers in the coming months.

On Thursday our Staff took on the Seniors in the annual rounders competition. There was some real competitive spirit on display, with the seniors securing the win.

Transition went on a trip to Yolk Farm last week. They fed some alpacas, goats, collected eggs and planted some sunflowers.

Inspired by the book, The Secret Garden, pupils went to explore the Willow Garden. They were delighted to see a robin; as if it had flown straight from the book!

Upper 4 pupils studying Food and Nutrition thoroughly enjoyed making fresh pasta and stretching it around the classroom. It tasted delicious too!

Pre-school have been learning about transport and how we travel. The children made traffic lights and explored movement by rolling cars through paint.
