Transition children took part in a ‘farm’ themed yoga session last week. They practised new poses including chicken, cow and farmer pose, engaging their core muscles and working on balance. 

Prep 3 have been reading about Flat Stanley’s escapades in Egypt, so they decided to write their own letters for his next adventure and popped them into the postbox!

Clarence house boarders enjoyed an Italian themed night, making pizzas with delicious toppings! Boarders also celebrated International Day of Happiness with house activities, as well as a trip to York!

Pre-School took a trip to the pond last week, to search for wildlife. They caught three slimy frogs and the children were fascinated, getting to look closely at the frogs features. 

Prep 4 have been learning all about fractions in their Maths lessons. Comparing, converting, adding and subtracting them, whilst also discovering that there is a lot of new vocabulary to learn too.

We hosted our U10 Lioness Football Tournament last week, where we welcomed local schools for a morning full of football fun, complete with a BBQ lunch!
