Tougher Minds Advice at Harrogate Ladies’ College
Harrogate Ladies’ College welcomed Tougher Minds Founder, Dr Jon Finn to school recently to talk to pupils, parents and staff about the brain and human thinking.
Tougher Minds’ personal change management message is both simple and powerful and explores how we can all use our Helpful Attention Control (H.A.C) brain to bring about more positive attitudes.
Jon spent the day at Harrogate Ladies’ College delivering a series of informative and thought-provoking talks about the core components to maintaining a H.A.C brain, and how better sleep, diet and exercise habits reduce stress and improve education performance.
Richard Tillett, Senior Deputy Head of Harrogate Ladies’ College and organiser of the conference said,
“Jon’s talks were incredibly useful, equipping parents, pupils and staff with the knowledge and techniques that we can all use to develop more resilience and cope better with setbacks.
“We look forward to continuing to develop our work in this important area”
Richard Tillett, Senior Deputy Head of Harrogate Ladies’ College
