Transition class have been baking their own biscuits to take home inspired by their book of the week, ‘The Gingerbread Man’.
Bird Spotting
Transition children have been excellent bird spotters this week. They worked together to make bird-feeders from apples, sticks and seeds; and listened carefully to environmental sounds.
Foundation Baking
Foundation have been busy making vegetable soup, and we spoke about the different vegetables and what we need to eat to stay healthy.
Winter Animals
Our Foundation class have had a super first week back enjoying their new topic: winter animals. They have been busy learning about the Arctic, playing in our vet’s roleplay and making winter sensory bottles.
The Grinch themed Christmas Lunch
Children in Foundation and Transition enjoyed a marvellous Grinch themed Christmas lunch at ‘Big School’ before the end of term, all set up and served by our wonderful catering team!
