Bankfield Nursery and Pre-Prep Celebrate Harvest
Bankfield Nursery and Pre-Prep joined the Reception class pupils at Highfield Prep School recently to celebrate Harvest. Parents were also invited to the Harvest Sing where the children sang songs including ‘Big, Red Combine Harvester’ and re-enacted the story of the Little Red Hen through music.

“We were very proud of the children as they were brave enough to perform in front of a crowd of people! It was such a joyous occasion and we were delighted to welcome so many families.”

Some of the Bankfield Pre-Prep children also attended the Highfield Harvest service in the chapel, where the children from Early Years sang two of their songs again and it was lovely to see all their smiling faces.
A collection was taken after the Harvest Sing and the generous donations will be given to Springboard, the Harrogate Homeless Project that is regularly supported by HLC.
