Early Years Practitioner for Highfield Pre-School (Maternity cover) – Term-time + 6 weeks of Holiday Club

 

Overview of Role

Highfield Pre-School, part of Harrogate Ladies College, is a leading independent nursery school for boys and girls aged 2-4 years and is based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Our Pre School is a unique and wonderful nursery school environment and is the perfect stepping stone from home to school.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our Pre-School team from January 2025 to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a 1-year fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will join an established team working in a lovely setting with children aged 2-4 years. Please refer to the job description for more details of the duties and responsibilities.

The hours are as follows on Mondays to Fridays, during term-time and during 6 x Holiday Club weeks throughout the year:-

  • Monday – 7.30am – 4.30pm 
  • Tuesday – 12pm – 5pm 
  • Wednesday – 8am – 5pm
  • Thursday – 8.45am – 6pm 
  • Friday – 8am – 5pm 

 

Applicants should have a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification and be experienced in working in a similar environment. A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage is required.
