Harrison Catering put on a Cake Pops workshop for the girls at HLC recently. Cake pops are sponge lolly pops covered in all manner of coloured chocolate, marshmallows, sprinkles and icing. The idea is to make faces, animals or just a gooey mess!
Well over 60 day and boarding girls came along to the workshop, and after a brief demonstration from Catering Manager, Craig Robinson and Head Chef, Michael Trowbridge, they were left to ‘get creative’. There were some really good, some really bizarre and some, what can only be described as, really imaginative, creations!
All in all a great, fun, messy time was had by all. The real bonus was that the girls could eat and enjoy their work.
