Dozens of Highfield pupils and parents left the car at home last Friday morning and joined Harrogate Town Football Club‘s friendly mascot, Harry Gator for Harrogate District Walk to School Day.

The sun shone for the annual Staff v Seniors Rounders fixture last week, with comedy errors, great catches, and some big hitting! Excellent play from both sides left the match finishing in a draw.

Royal Families in the Forest
Pre-School‘s Families in the Forest session took on a royal theme this week as the children took part in outdoor arts and crafts, and enjoyed some very yummy cupcakes.
A Very Special Performance
Prep 5 have been enjoying having children from Thailand in class over the last few weeks. In Assembly, the visiting pupils performed a wonderful traditional Thai dance to the song “Loy Krathong”.
All the Fun of the Fete
College students joined the whole school in celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III at a very special fete. Traditional games, an ice cream van, face painting, and photo booths made for a picture-perfect afternoon.
