The Health Centre is located next door to Clarence Boarding House, with five bedrooms accommodating seven pupils for overnight care.
There are four qualified Registered General Nurses and one Health Care Assistant. The Health Centre is open Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm and Saturday 9am-4pm. A Nurse is ‘on call’ for the boarders at all other times.
HLC is attached to the Spa Surgery in Harrogate town centre. GPs visit twice week, however pupils can be assessed at any other time during the week.
All pupils have a base-line medical when joining us. We offer a full vaccination programme for pupils registered with the Surgery and access to Counsellors and other Health Care professionals.
The aim of the Health Centre is to facilitate best practise health care and to ensure that all pupils receive the best from their education. We can be contacted by email or telephone and we are very happy to see parents by appointment.
