Entry Procedure

All children and families are welcome at Bankfield. We are committed to providing equality of opportunity and anti discriminatory practice for all.

Once a child’s registration form and £25 fee are received, the child’s name will be added to a waiting list for the term of your choice, unless the child is already two years old. In this case they may start immediately depending on availability of places.

Mrs Collings will discuss with parents when is the best time for their child to start pre-school. There is a very flexible entry procedure. As all children develop at different rates it is very much down to individual preference and of course what is right for the child. Parents and children are invited to visit prior to their start date to join a session in action. At this visit they will receive welcome packs, a smock and Bankfield bag.

Children normally start at the beginning of a term and sometimes half term depending on their age.
